Overview
The Department of Anesthesia delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care across the full range of surgical services at Ruby Hall Clinic. We provide anesthesia services to major surgeries like Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic, Oncosurgery, ENT, Urosurgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and Abdominal Surgeries.
The Anesthetic Department also runs an Acute Pain Relief Service throughout the hospital. Provides a 24-hour epidural post-op pain relief service and labor analgesia for pregnant women in the maternity unit. Anesthetic services are also available in the CT and the GI Endoscopy Unit.
The department is equipped with latest gadgets for anesthesia monitoring. There are modern anesthesia work stations, which also includes anesthesia gas monitoring. The department also has a dedicated fiber-optic bronchoscope and a portable ultrasound machine for peripheral nerve blocks and central line placement. The department is academically active and regular teaching programs get conducted in the department.
